Welcome =)

Hey, I'm Veronica and these are amazing pictures I have taken for my A4 photography class... Hope You Like Them!!!

Photography Final

* I took this picture to show the evolution of cameras. I started with the oldest one in the front at the bottom. Then the cameras get newer as they go higher. The top two are the same camera, but I showed the back and the front, and I showed how they come in different colors. There is a high-side light to the right, and I took it with a shutter speed of .6sec, an aperture of f9, and ISO 100.

Portrait

* This picture shows Samantha's personality. She likes to read, and her shirt shows her happy attitude. She also looks very happy and content sitting there. There is a high-side light on the left side, and I look it using a .6sec shutter speed, F9 aperture, and ISO 100.

Insect Picture

*I took this picture because it showed this beautiful insect in its natural habitat. The Insect blends into the leaf, and I also love the realism of the habitat with even those couple of raindrops. Actually, I think this butterfly was also dying during the time because it would not leave that leaf, no matter how hard the wind blowed or if anyone touched it. That leaf was its only protection, since it was so weak. This picture also shows all the great details of the insect very clearly. I took it with 1/125 shutter speed, ISO 100, and F5.6 aperture.

My Artistic Creations

*My first experimental picture was taken for the mystery of the candle, and I also liked the fact that there was a mirror on the lid. I used natural light from the window and the candle itself, and I set it on a black leather couch. My hand held up the lid, but with the help of photoshop, I took that out. I also adjusted the lighting in photoshop, but I took this picture with a 1/1600 shutter speed, ISO 1600, and an aperture of F2.8.

*My second artistic creation was in honor of my dog Cleo, who I believe is the cutest dog ever. First, I found this pretty spot in washington park, where the light went throught the trees perfectly. Then, I took a picture of the clounds on a nice partly-cloudy day. Last, I got a great picture of my dog Cleo sitting on our couch. All of these pictures are natural lighting either outside or from the window. They were all enhanced alittle in photoshop and then copy and pasted all together to make the effect that Cleo is floating on a cloud in this fairy tale place. I used 1/125 shutter speed, ISO 400, and F4 aperture for the picture of cleo; 1/13 shutter speed, ISO 100, and F5 aperture for the picture of the trees; and last 1/1600, ISO 80, and F2.8 for the picture of the clouds.

Fashion by My Mum

*My mom never is very confident with her looks. My purpose for this picture was to capture her beauty and show her how pretty she really is. She was all dressed up for some reason and it just seemed like the perfect oportunity. I also like how all of the colors match in this seen including the picture on the wall and the coat. It was taken with natural lighting from the windows and the camera was set at 1/25 shutter speed, ISO 800, and an aperture of F4.

Pretty Plants

* This picture was taken because I like how the red color from the flower compliments so well with the wood pieces it is sitting on. I took this picture right outside my house with a shutter speed of 1/320, ISO 80, and an aperture of F4.3.

*I like this flower because it gives the effect of despair but still beauty. It was taken a little in the shadows of Washington Park. I used photoshop to add more color to it, which tended to give it a little of a mystical element too. It was taken with all natural lighting and a shutter speed of 1/80, ISO 100, and an aperture of F3.5.

Grapes and Berries

*I took this picture because I wanted a traditional layout for food. Fruit is a very traditional picture seen. I put something extra in it to give it my own appeal, the candle. It kind of adds a sense of humor too because it is a berry candle and berries are a fruit. I also like how all the colors go together, and to make this feature stand out more, I made the rest of the photo black and white. This picture is taken with a big overhead light in my kitchen, and I used 1/80 shutter speed, ISO 1600, and an aperture of F2.8.

Candid Shot

*This photo was taken because the guy, Ian Kornfeld, just seemed so natural sitting at a picnic table in the park. I had him look away for it to be a Candid, which allowed for the light to hit him in a way where it showed all his bone structure and other textures wonderfully. It was taken with all natural lighting and the sun high in the sky with a shutter speed of 1/200, ISO 100, and an aperture of F5.

Architecture Pictures

*I took this picture because it is a very well designed and original structure with the outside porch and and the big attic windows. I also like how the trees cover the structure to make shadows and lines, which make the building stick out even more. It is all natural lighting, 1/60 shutter speed, ISO 100, and an aperture of F5.

*I took this picture because I liked how the buildings ranged in all different shapes and sizes. I also like how this picture shows the setting of downtown and captures the cars, the road, the fence, and the light poles. The lines that the stop light makes gives this picture a sort of 3D effect too. I used all natural lighting with some level adjustments in photo shop, and it was taken with a shutter speed of 1/1250, ISO 400, and an aperture of F5.

Animal Pictures

* I took this photo because the geese seems to content in its habitat. I also like how its reflection shows in the water. This photo is taken with all natural lighting, a shutter speed of 1/400, ISO 100, and an aperture of F4.3.

* I took this picture because I love how it shows my dog, Pippen's personality. You can see it in his face that he is a lovable house dog, but a little absent minded. The ball fits perfectly in this picture too and just further expresses my intention. This picture is taken with all natural lighting from the window above to the right, 1/80 shutter speed, ISO 400, and F4 aperture.

Product Shots

*My first product shot was shot because this type of shoe is a big trend nowadays, and one of my personal favorite shoes. I set it up with all natural lighting from a window, and the black canvas behind it is just a plain leather couch. I edited the backround alittle to make it look more black, and I also used the clone tool to create the effect in the backround of different parts of the shoe to emphasize its awsome features. It was taken using a 1/80 shutter speed, ISO 1600, and an aperture of F3.2.

*My second prduct shot is a picture of a can of diet coke because coke is a big industry in present day. The pretty flowers in the back just seem to give it a more bright mood, which also goes with Coke's main theme of "Open Happiness". It is taken with all natural lighting, which is enhanced alittle on photoshop, and a shutter speed of 1/80, ISO 100, and an aperture of F8.
